Hi, you’ve landed on Chris McMahon’s web page. That’s the Speculative Fiction writer that lives in Brisbane, Australia.

I have a lovely wife, Sandra, and three young children, Aedan, Declan and Brigit, who are nine, seven and five years old.

The youngest of eleven children, I ended up in in the Engineering field more by accident than design. I enjoy martial arts and have a first-dan black belt in Moon Lee Tae Know Do (www.moonlee.com.au) and also study Haidong Gumdo (www.hdgd.com.au), the Korean art of the sword.

I love movies, and have been accused of being a movie and video addict, its all lies of course :) . I am very passionate about music, if a little inconsistent, and have at various times sung in the QIA Irish Club Choir the Tara Singers, played classical guitar and sung in garage bands.
