Glowmetals are a blend of light and energy, explicably linked in the form in which they were created.

Arising in all sizes, shapes and metal combinations, they can neither be created nor destroyed. Each metal has its characteristic and matching color.

Each glowmetal has a key energy signature at which it can receive energy. For one glowmetal it might be a certain pitch of sound, or the heat of a fire, or mental energy. Matched to this is its signature mode of release, which can vary over an endless range.

One glowmetal may absorb the heat of a fire, and release this energy as sound, for example.

Many glowmetals remain mere curiosities, as their key energy signature and mode of release are never discovered - others can become powerful weapons, particularly those that can receive their power from either one of the three Realms of magic: Earth, Heave and Fire.
